ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR
The browser tried to open an encrypted (HTTPS) connection to the site and the SSL/TLS protocol negotiation failed — something in the security setup did not match up.
Common causes
- The computer's clock has the wrong date/time (invalidating certificate checks).
- An expired, badly installed or missing SSL certificate on the server.
- Antivirus or a corporate proxy inspecting HTTPS incorrectly.
- A site still redirecting to HTTPS without a valid certificate in place.
What to do
- Check that the computer's date and time are correct.
- Temporarily disable the antivirus's HTTPS inspection to test.
- Try another browser or device to isolate the issue.
