403 Forbidden error

The server understood the request but refuses to authorize access to that resource. Unlike a 404, the page may well exist — the server simply decided not to show it to whoever asked.

Common causes

  • File or folder permissions blocking access on the server.
  • A firewall rule or country/IP block.
  • Trying to access a folder with no index file and no directory listing enabled.
  • A missing or expired token, session cookie or API key.

What to do

  • Double-check you typed the right address, with no stray spaces or characters.
  • Log out and back in, if the page requires an account.
  • Try another network (IP/country blocks are common on certain services).

Check `.htaccess` rules, a web application firewall (WAF) or CDN that might be blocking it by mistake.
